There is never a dull moment in my life. No matter where I may stand on this planet or the size of the smoke I’m carrying. At any given moment, entertainment of many enjoyable levels is just around the corner from me and the folks that can bear to endure them.

It seriously doesn’t get any more American than a good ol mudslinging contest. A contest by running giant man-made mechanical beast down an intense swampy track slinging mud into places that it should never be.

Just short of a joyful 30-minute ride from Beebop Farm™ located in Luray, SC, is Twitty’s Mud Bog in Ulmar, SC. The mud bog event brings the action in the form of loud jacked up trucks accompanied by rednecks and red girls all screaming they wish they brought more Budlight! Trailered in from many hours around Twitty’s gives a place where everyone can strip down to witness one hell of a show. These trucks and their drivers put the peddle to the metal and shoot off the starting line down the pit to give everyone one hell of a show! So damn good that one won’t be able to resist tossing back a few brews and start some hoopen & hollering right along with the neighbors next door! These oiled down rigs of power, spinning tires, engines winding up before they rocket down the run screaming “freedom of speech” is a sight to enjoy and is not to be missed too often by the wife and I.

We are thankful that we share a pit side lot with some good local friends. This “lot” just so happens to be positioned at the starting line for the trucks! It’s like being at mission control with a hotdog, a beer, and a bit of mud in the hair knowing that’s the kind of shit needed on the weekends.
