What’s up? Thank you for the letter. You might want to take note of the address change. I was moved to another prison, that’s why I’m just getting your letter.
I want to touch on something you said. Concerning the word of god, you said. You’re just living life and there’s a lot of life let to enjoy. Basically, you’re not concerned with what happens after death since you’re only 25.
Well. You’re not guaranteed to wake up tomorrow. I know that sounds funny because drugs give you that “who cares” attitude. I know. I had it for a long time.
The Bible is full of warning concerning taking time for granted. Jesus told about a man who was storing up his riches and boasting that he was just going to kick back and party for a few years. But God said to him, you fool, tonight you’re going to die, who’s going to have all your possessions then. So is the man who only concerns himself with this life.
There’s coming a day when every man will have to stand before the throne of God and give an account of his life. Those who didn’t make a covenant with God through Jesus will be cast into the lake of fire.
You can say it’s all a fairy tale and you don’t believe it, but there’s a lot of evidence to support the Bible and the Bible is very clear about eternity and heaven and hell.
You have to make your own decisions, but part of jumping in the water is knowing what’s in it first. Life isn’t just about getting high.
