Chinese Eye: Best Beer Pub

Chinese Eye Travel like a local in China did a nice little write-up about craft beers in Beijing.!

Best Beer Pub

PS:  were pg#6.!

Best beer pub!

This goes to show that people need to create bullshit material to get their brand name in the headlines. Here is a list of some fifteen beer bars. Three of them are actual brewery facility, four of them are actual beer bottle shops and the remaining are just a bunch of shit. The so-called craft beer BOOM in China was just a bunch of Chinese neanderthal who had money, passed on throughout the generations, bored because they have the IQ of a child, and well… simply stating it in their words.

“This is a place for me and my friends to hang out”.

Which is never the case, and never comes to mind that this fucks with the overall market. Ruins the proper business part. The predictions, the control, the sharing of a limited amount of beer, and the drinkers. So several of the listed locations are nothing but a fucken HOLE in the WALL! Illegal shit either Chinese or the limited imagination of a foreigner who wanted attention.

~When in China do as the Chinese do~

“Fuck that!”

I know this for being a supplier of craft beer, I would deliver to these locations just to see what is going on. Who is buying? how it is being handled, served, etc.

American people will have no idea. There are no rules and regulations in China when it comes to business and humans and their rights. Everything is based on the maturity and respect of the population and … that’s very very low. Contradictory ideas of respect and representing. Gorilla tactics of business by allowing the poor to sell craft beer on the sidewalk, the very same craft beer that the shop they are sitting in front of carries.

Does this not defeat the purpose of a brick and mortar establishment?

Obviously, you can see a fight in my eyes.

This is the undoing of many a work. The GOV does have laws, but try to police that kind of mass, that kind of ignorant low educated people who feel they are entitled to western ideology by selling shit on the street. Sad to see how western ideas pollute a society where once everyone was –one for all all for one– to be reduced to a further. –me first-. This is a society that has no real religion, no real foundation to live. So now there is craft beer bottle shops opening up everywhere. Ever mom and pop corners that could not properly care for the “high end” product. One should see how they take care of BrewDog. Sad!

No attributes to serving or knowledge of what they are pushing, and the fucked up part about it all was the dirty poor level foreigners that can easily manage to live like bums in the back corners of hutang rubbernecking their heads out for the cheap product to consume with hipster dignity. For when you live in dirty, you don’t mind being that kind of hipster by drinking a 40.-80 RMB with the aroma of urine nearby.

Plus, editors, magazine writers/ reviewers…  Seriously.!  Get a real job! If you feel like your opinions out ways that of the business, advertisement payee. etc!

When someone tells you how to write in a manner to “sell the business…”

You do as the owner wants or you forfeit future profits for your magazine company.! This is the #1 reason why The Beijinger sucks ass!

“But Brick, It’s the longest-running Expact magazine for the Beijing Community”

Dude! It’s the first, and as one can see, the proprietor only successfully named it! The Beijinger. That is all! End of case. The rest is about to be history for the magazine is on its final approach to hitting that brick wall with a sign painted on it in bright color stating

With that all being said, now don’t get me wrong; There are exceptions.

Here’s what they had to say. (unedited)

Best Beer Pubs in Beijing–Brewing Beer / Craft Beer

By: CEditor 2015-02-251872579

If you’ve been in China you probably recall a time when we overdosed on Tsingtao or Yanjing Beer, cheap but suffering from a severe hang-over. Even in a bar or pub, they always serve you bottle beer or tasteless, mass-produces lagers.

The drought has come to an end. A number of local brewpubs are now serving complex craft ales in pub atmospheres throughout the city.

Here we list some brewing bars or pubs in deferent districts of Beijing for you!

NBeer Pub

Beer geeks rejoice. Founder Yin Hai, president of the Chinese Homebrewer’s Association, joined forces with beer fanatic and bar owner Xiao Biar to lay the stones for their home base — N Beer — beside the noodle shops on Huguosi Snack Street.

This brewery operation sports 37 taps and stocks over 500 varieties of bottled beer from around the world. The taps are filled with both local brewers’ handiwork (Tipsy Face, Panda, Great Leap, Slow Boat) and craft brews from around China (Master Gao’s from Nanjing and Harvest of Chengdu).

Great Leap Brewing

Great Leap made its name brewing beers in a  rustic courtyard that’s been around since the days of Old Beijing. Closer to modernity, Great Leap’s Brewing Taproom is scaled up with plenty of polished wood, shiny fermenting tanks and a state-of-the-art tap system pouring 12 beer varieties. The expanded size reflects the status: bearded owner Carl Setzer is credited with kick-starting Beijing’s current beer boom. Their philosophy is to source a majority of locally grown ingredients, including local hops, teas, spices, fruits, vegetables, coffees, sugars and honeys, creating craft beer that truly represents the best of China.

京 A Jing A

京A Brewing Co. is the brainchild of Kris and Alex, two North American guys and long-term Beijingers with a passion for great beer. After months of brewing out of apartments, in commercial kitchens, and guest brewing on other local systems, the 京A Brewing Co. boys  made the move to a brewery of their own within the Big Smoke Bistro in Xingfucun, opening in Spring 2013.

The significance of the “A” is more subtle. When Beijing first began issuing car license plates in the late 90s, the first batch of car owners got 京A plates. As the city prospered over the next twenty years, additional letters were issued. Now a new car owner is lucky if she can register a 京Q license plate. In this way, 京A has come to represent the original. The old school.

What comes out of their laboratory and into the glasses can be as conventional as sharp pale ale or innovative as wasabi beer.

Enjoy a selection of over 10 Jing-A brews along with a rotating cast of guest beers, pub grub including grilled cheese and Andy’s Craft Sausages, and plenty of seasonal specialties.

Home Plate Barbecue

Scuffed floors, stacks of applewood, a brick smoker designed by the owners, and country tunes (think Johnny Cash and honky-tonk) set the stage for a meal of down-home barbecue from the American South. An anomaly on a strip of Chinese restaurants, Home Plate is a place where time relaxes and diners languidly enjoy slow-cooked meats. There’s no kitsch, nor any attempt at reinventing the simple philosophy of Southern comfort and hospitality.

The newer Sanlitun location is much larger than the Sanyuanli original, with additional dishes and cocktails. over 6 types of draught beers offered by Slow Boat Brewery.
